Platform: XBOX 360
Genre: First Person Shooter/Military Simulation
The first thing I noticed about this game is how smoothly the frame rate plays out. This game made a big jump in how realistic war can be, there are even some levels that may be too graphic and you can skip them by option.
After playing the game through on veteran, every time I closed my eyes I would see blood. I don’t need to be a scientist to tell you that it’s a very bloody game. This is not a game for kids or the faint of heart.
The controls are very simple like previous Call of Duty titles, and the game doesn’t leave you confused like some shooters do. You always know your objective and were to go. The checkpoints are well placed and not to spread out, and ammunition is plentiful. Another thing I liked about the game is how the levels change dramatically in scenario. As far as Single Player goes it plays very well, the game could have been longer though.
The Multiplayer is fantastic, defiantly the best feature of the game. I found myself taking a break from the Veteran Campaign and stayed online for two days straight. It never gets old, jumping into games is a snap, and customizing your own class, titles, and emblems is cake! The only flaw I saw was sometimes your party would separate, but nothing a patch in the near future can fix right? Whether you are new to the game or a long time player of Call of Duty Games you can pick up a controller and fire away at enemies with ease. Once you start will begin to beat online challenges very fast, and the variety of weapons, emblems, titles, challenges perks, and modifications will help you find the perfect class fit just for you.
The Special Op's Mode is defiantly worth a try for people who want to improve any aspect of their game. From riding a snowmobile to fighting the incredibly resistant and defensive Juggernauts, this game will give you such great challenges, that some of them require a friend to help you with them. Defiantly a great added feature to the game, Xbox live is enabled for this mode so it makes it interesting.
I give this game 9 out of 10, The game is worth buying simply for multiplayer alone. The incredibly built campaign is defiantly worth a play through one or two times, and Special Op's might leave some of you screaming at the TV calling HAX. The challenges are endless.
P.S. Happy HeadShot Hunting!!
