~Works with consoles and PC's
~5.1 surround sound (ONLY with the use of a mixamp)
~Customizable side plates
~Microphone can be either on left or right ear
~They can be worn for LONG amounts of time without any discomfort (at least I didn't find any discomfort...)
~Can be used WITHOUT the mixamp
~Sounds great, surround sound is amazing when paired with a decent sound card or the mixamp
Negative Things.
~EXPENSIVE 249.95USD for headset and mixamp, 199.95USD for headset, 129.95USD for mixamp and custom tags are 19.95USD +
~ONLY sold in USA, so for 'outta staters' your looking at HUGE S&H charges (to send the mixamp to myself I believe was almost 100$)
~CABLES... dagon, lets see here, 1 cable to power outlet for mixamp, 1 cable for headset to mixamp, 1 cable to pc/console and for XBL a cable from controller to mixamp
Final Thoughts.
This being one of the best 'emulated' surround sound headsets I have ever used, I just can not recommend this to anyone because of its steep price range. for 250USD (+s&h) you can get 'just as good'

Whole headset, the mic can be placed on either ear

Microphone....

Headset close up with ear pieces removed, you can see where the microphone goes, and that it can go into both ears...

Ear piece, the pack side has 4 small magnets that allow it to clip onto each ear....
NOTE: I didn't have a mixamp for this review and wasn't about to shell out 200 bucks for it, sorry
